If you needed one more reason to book a styling session with our lovely and very knowledgeable styling team, here it is! We recently had the pleasure of hosting Karly in our retail store for a styling session, Libby was all hands-on deck to make sure Karly felt comfortable and ensured she left with no styling query left unanswered. Our BB stylists know just how to make you feel a million bucks - but don't take it from us, listen to what Karly had to say about her styling session!
What made you choose the Blue Bungalow Styling Session?
A few people that I follow on IG had showcased some of the Blue Bungalow clothes and I had been looking at the website for a while. I have recently lost some weight and was really unsure about sizing. The styling sessions were mentioned on IG at some point, so I decided to give it a try on a recent visit to Brisbane. I wanted to learn a bit more about dressing for my shape and get an idea of sizes so that I could then buy more confidently online.
What was your favourite thing about the Styling Session?
Working with Libby and all of the other staff was amazing! I was a bit nervous walking into the store by myself and not really knowing what to expect from the styling session but everyone was so welcoming. Libby put me at ease as soon as we started chatting and encouraged me to try on clothes that I wouldn't usually pick to see what would work best… Libby was really responsive to the clothes that were working on me and was happy to organise for different sizes and styles to come down from the warehouse. She was also able to make other suggestions based on our conversations during the session. At no stage was I pushed to purchase anything. It was just a really enjoyable afternoon doing something that I would never have done in the past.
How did you feel when leaving the Styling Session?
I felt really excited when I left the styling session. I felt more confident about the style of clothes that work for my body shape and happy for doing something just for me for an afternoon. It was so nice to go into a store and have so many nice options that actually fit me. Depending on the style, I can wear anything from a size 14-20 so having access to so many styles and sizes is something that I don't often get while living in a regional area.
Would you recommend it to others?
I have already recommended the styling sessions to all of my friends! When I explain to them how it all works, they love the sound of it. I do tell them to have a good look at the website before they go. This was great to get an idea of what styles worked and didn't work on me, but next time I will definitely spend more time looking at the website and requesting styles to try on.
