Blue Bungalow Sizing
Sizing Made Easy
- We stock many different brands. Sizing can differ between them.
- That's why we measure all our garments and list their dimensions. This gives a consistent point of reference across all brands.
- We also fit test every style to recommend a corresponding 'Best Fits' making it easier to shop your usual size with confidence.
How We Measure Your Garments
Our size guides are based on garment measurements, not body measurements. Every garment is laid flat on a table to be measured. After measuring and fit testing the garments, our product experts provide a corresponding 'Best Fits' recommendation for each product based off standard sizing. It is the quickest way to find your size and is especially helpful for shopping styles that come in sizes XS – 3XL.
How does it work?
If you're usually a size 16, you would open up the Size Guide, scroll across, look out for size 16 in the Best Fits row, and see the corresponding size above, for example, XL - this is the size that you should add to cart!
Why is there differences in sizing?
You might then look at another style and see that a size L in that dress Best Fits a size 16 - in other words, you might be an XL in one style and an L in another, always trust the Best Fits! These variations come from differences in brands' sizing, fabric type, and silhouette.
Best Fits Shortcut
Our size charts are supported by a brief description of how the garment is intended to fit.
Tip: Check this recommendation alongside our size guide for the most accurate fit.
Online Shopping Tip: Our fit recommendation and customer reviews work best when used together. Use our recommendation to select your size, and customer feedback to understand how the item feels when worn.
How To Measure Yourself
Bust
Measure around the fullest part of your bust (just under the armpits). Arms down by your side and slightly apart. Make sure the measuring tape is straight across the body.
Waist
Use the tape to circle your waist (like a belt) at your natural waistline. This is above your belly button and below your rib cage.
Hips
Measure around the fullest part of your hips. Start at one hip and wrap the tape measure around your rear, around the other hip, and back to where you started.
Inseam
Stand straight and measure from the top of your inner thigh (where your legs meet) down to your ankle. It can be helpful to have someone measure for you.
Save your measurements in the notes app on your phone to access them each time you shop online!
